My First Easter 2010 Nah man, No Chocolate rabbits. Easter 2010
Easter Home tullum yes, man ah just made some manl.
What chocolate rabbit? No, ah ha, chocolate tea too booth.
Market time, buy a real instant rabbit, make a curry stew. It dawned on me for the first time today
"ah doh have no son."
Wait a minute Haydain is not with us to invite me to his home.
Haydain has gone over yonder playing Savannah concerts.. No box of turtles from him this Easter for
"meh to chew."
Nor visiting his home for aperitifs of "various types of cheese." Turtles are my favorite everyday chocolates nuts to chew.. I then went to the freezer took out some blended coconut.
Got the Molasses out added it to the coconut and sugar.
Made my own Trinidad and Tobago molasses tullum.
"FoH soh." I wondered as I stirred the candy bubbling up Volcanic glub, "
ah well! he is gone".
Haydain is over yonder in his heaven and so he like Christ is risen.

Neale's family announced his death on his website Monday. Maybe 8 years back I had a chance encounter with him in NY, at a Yankees game. I somehow managed to luck into some great seats behind home plate and he was sitting next to me. I was not sure who he was and only found out because I sensed that everyone else around me was a season's ticket holder. So I asked him, " is this your regular seat ?" And he mentioned that he too lucked into his seats which lead to a very long ( 9 innings ), casual chat during the game. I found out what he did, who he was ( I had actually liked the band and it got a lot of play at that time ). Talked about many subjects. Very smart guy, very philosophical. Neale's wife, daughter, brother-in-law and two of his friends were with him when he passed away at Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital.
This wasn't Neale's only health struggle over the last few years. In August 2007, he was knocked off his scooter and sustained serious head injuries after he was in a car accident.
