Geneva has been recognized for her work both as a community volunteer and as an international poet.
She has been given the Outstanding Achievement Award in Poetry by the International Society of Poets for 2005 and again for 2006.
Her poetry appears in the International Society of Poetry Anthology in various additions since 2000.
